The Holiday Inn at the University of Memphis is a new 82-suite, full service hotel. It is located in the heart of Memphis on the University’s campus just minutes from downtown and convenient to the airport, shopping malls and specialty shops. This location also offers quick access to all local attractions. All suites are equipped with high-speed data ports, two TV’s, as well as, a wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, coffeepot, iron and ironing board. The living room area also has a sofa-sleeper. Our award-winning Medallion Restaurant and Lounge, Sundry Soap and Business Center are all located on the first floor of the hotel.

Lodging: A block of rooms is being held at the Holiday Inn at the University of Memphis, 3700 Central Avenue. The rate is $95.00 plus 15.95% tax. To make a reservation, attendees should call 1-800-HOLIDAY or 901-678-8200 and must identify themselves as part of the ICODOE Conference to get this discounted rate. A major credit card is required to reserve a room and reservations must be made by March 12, 2005. After this date, any uncommitted rooms from the block will be released. Further reservations will be honored on a space and rate available basis. Reservations must be cancelled (3) three days prior to arrival date or you will be billed for one night’s room and tax. Check in time is after 3:00 p.m. CST, and check out is by 12:00 noon CST. Guests arriving prior to 3:00 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available. The front desk can arrange to store baggage for those arriving early when rooms are not available. Also, a full breakfast buffet is offered in the Medallion Dinging Room from 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM daily at a price of $7.95 plus tax.

Airport Shuttle: Complimentary shuttle service from the airport is available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Requests for this service must be received at least one week prior to arrival and must be called in to the hotel at 901-678-8200. Information must include name, group, arrival date and time, as well as departure date and time from the hotel.
