SYLLABUS/GROUP MEETINGS

No formal class meetings are held. In the beginning of the semester, we will meet intensively once or twice a week to organize groups and match them to available projects. Once the assignments are worked out, the groups work on them accordingly and deliver results as outlined below. At the end of the semester, final results are presented, as appropriate to the project, at a meeting in which sponsoring company's representatives and faculty are present to evaluate the results (see more details under evaluation). Peer students may attend these presentations and share in the experiences, if they so wish, as the nature of the projects allow. Results for all projects must be completed, delivered, installed, and./or finalized as appropriate, by the last day of classes Dec 5, 2001.

The specific meeting dates below are tentative and will be finalized at the first meeting, to take place on August 29, 2001, 4:30pm in BB 123. Students set up additional individual/group meetings with faculty as required for completion of their projects.
