System Testing Workshop

A block of guest rooms have been reserved at the Fogelman Executive Conference Center, located on the campus of the University of Memphis. The campus is located approximately seven miles from the airport and from Downtown Memphis. A shopping mall, specialty shops and numerous restaurants are located within one mile of the hotel.

A hotel reservation form is available here. Please complete the form and mail or fax it to the address shown at the bottom of the form no later than April 5, 2007. After this time, the room blocks will be released and reservations will be accepted on a rate and space availability basis. Reservations must be cancelled (3) days prior to arrival date or you will be billed for one night's room and tax.

The Fogelman Center rooms contain one queen-size bed, TV, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker and a data port. Restaurant service is available at the Holiday Inn, not at the Fogelman Center. All electrical plugs are US. We do not provide adaptors for other types of plugs. You should bring an adaptor with you. Both buildings have wireless computer access.

Complimentary airport shuttle service is available from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM US Central Standard Time. Requests for this service must be received at least one week prior to arrival. Please complete the information on the attached Reservation & Transportation Request form. Our shuttle leaves the hotels on the hour, arrives at the airport by 20 minutes past the hour, and returns to the hotel on the next hour.

On arrival at the hotel, please verify the day and time you wish to depart for the airport. The first airport pickup is at 8:30 AM and the last airport pickup is at 9:30 PM. If your flight is outside these times, you will need to get a taxi. The taxi fare is approximately $20.00 US, and you are responsible for this fare. If you fail to request this service in advance, there may be no van available to you.
