Dr. Kan YANG (CV)

I joined the Department of Computer Science at The University of Memphis as a tenure-track assistant professor in Jan. 2017. I received my B.Eng. degree in information security from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2008, and Ph.D. degree in computer science with outstanding research thesis award from City University of Hong Kong in 2013 supervised by Prof. Xiaohua Jia.

From 2013 to 2014, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Dept. of Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong. From 2014 to 2016, I was a postdoctoral fellow, the coordinator of the Security Group, at the Broadband Communications Research (BBCR) group in the Dept. of ECE at the University of Waterloo, supervised by Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen. During my Ph.D. study, I was also a visiting student in UbiSeC lab at State University of New York at Buffalo, supervised by Prof. Kui Ren.
